The Republican Center for  Development of Traditional Culture and the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G.  Zhiganov, with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research  are holding the 1st International Scientific Conference "Traditional Culture of Turkic Peoples in a Changing World".

In Kazan at  the concert hall "Unix" the opening of the Super-final of the 17th Republican Open Youth TV Festival of Pop Art "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk" was held.

The collective  of the Kazan Academic Russian Grand Dramatic Theater named after V. I. Kachalov has left to   St. Petersburg for the XIX International Theater Festival of the CIS and Baltic countries "Meetings in Russia".

In Kazan,  presentation of the student's projects of the restoration of the Hadi Atlasi Street ended V International scientific and practical conference "Cultural heritage in the XXI century: preservation, use, popularization".

Today, within the framework of the Year of Ecology in Russia, a photo exhibition "Wild Nature of Russia-2016"  has opened at  the "Hermitage-Kazan" Center.

From  April  9 to 12,   the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan will tour   the largest cities of the Tyumen region and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk and Tyumen.

Artists of the Sakhalin Puppet Theater have been  met by heroes of fairy-tale characters, and  Tatarochka doll treated  guests to a traditional chak-chak.

From April, 20 to April, 23, the VIII International contest-festival of musical and artistic creativity "Eastern Fairy Tale" will be held in Kazan.

Concerts of the festival will be held in the cities of Tatarstan and Mari El. In Kazan young talents will perform at the State Concert Hall named after S.Saidashev.

Within the framework of the competition, master classes for participants of the festival and their curators are planned.
