From April 9 to 12, the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan will tour the largest cities of the Tyumen region and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk and Tyumen. A Siberian tour is timed to the 80th anniversary of a renowned collective and will open a series of performances that to be held in Russia and abroad.
The public of cities in which the concerts of the April tour will be held are well acquainted with the work of the Tatarstan ensemble. "Since 2007, we regularly come to Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Tyumen - cities to big Tatar diasporas," says Yuri Zhukov, director of the State Ensemble of Song and Dance(SES&D). - There are strong local autonomies of the Tatars, who actively help with organization of tours; In addition, an agreement on comprehensive cooperation was concluded between the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra and Tatarstan. At our concerts in Siberia there are always full halls and always a warm welcome. " According to Yuri Zhukov, the concert in Surgut on April 9 will take place in the newest palace of arts "Neftyanik", on April 10 Tatarstanians will perform in Nizhnevartovsk within the 45th anniversary of the city, on April 12 the artists will give a concert in Tyumen.
Considering multinational composition of the population of Siberian cities, a collective has prepared a special program for current tours. "Of course, we can not do without all the beloved, large-scale and colorful items of the Golden Fund of Tatar art," says artistic director of the SESandD, People's Artist of Tatarstan Airat Khametov. "We included songs and dances of the peoples of the world - Russian, Georgian, Czech, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Turkmen folklore. There will be songs of Soviet years, wartime compositions, and in the end we will show a fragment of our new play "Sacred Gardens" staged by Georgy Kovtun. "
The orchestra, choral and ballet troupes of the ensemble take part in the tour (more than 70 people); Artists take out more than 300 colorful costumes, national instruments. Concert in Surgut will be accompanied by a video installation.
In the year of its 80th anniversary, the collective plans a series of performances in the cities of Russia, CIS countries and far abroad (Turkey, Kazakhstan, Belarus, etc.). In summer the artists will perform at the federal Sabantui in Astrakhan, in the second half of the year a big anniversary program will be presented in Moscow.
They will be able to see a glorified collective in the villages and settlements of Tatarstan. The ensemble plans to give a series of concerts in rural Houses of culture. Also, within a year the collective will give 15 concerts in children's homes and medical institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan. The jubilee year will end with a big concert that will be held in December at the scene of the M. Jalil Opera and Ballet Theater of Kazan.
