Kazan Theater named after Kachalov will take part in the festival "Meetings in Russia" in St. Petersburg

The collective  of the Kazan Academic Russian Grand Dramatic Theater named after V. I. Kachalov has left to   St. Petersburg for the XIX International Theater Festival of the CIS and Baltic countries "Meetings in Russia".

April 12 on the stage of the Theater Festival "Baltic House" a play "Mad Day, or  Marriage of Figaro" by P.O.  Bomarshe will be performed. Director - Alexander Slavutsky.

One of the most famous plays in the world of drama, the comedy "Mad Day, or  Marriage of Figaro" has been on the theatrical stages of the whole world for more than two centuries. Recognizable characters and situations, virtuoso intrigue, sharp dialogues, rapidly developing plot create an exciting action filled with humor and irony.

On the way to his happiness, the protagonist of the play  Figaro lives a truly insane day, in which the joyful expectation of the upcoming wedding is replaced by doubts about  fidelity  of the beloved, betrayal of the patron and the need to fight for the right to love and be loved.   To overcome all obstacles and untangle the knot of intrigues  and conspiracies help him a  sharp mind, love of life, and, of course, love.
