Semyk is one of the most significant and favorite Mari festivals, traditionally opening a cycle of summer holidays.

The site for the meeting was not chosen by chance. In the coming days, this museum, after major repairs, will open its doors to its visitors.

May 27 - All-Russian Library Day!     

The 27th Russian Festival of Russian Folklore “Karavon”  has   opened in the Russian village of Nikolskoye, Laishevsky district, which brought together more than 140 folklore groups and ensembles of Russian folk songs from the republic and other regions of Russia to present their work, more than 20 thousand guests.

The special guest of the holiday will be the Russian singer, the singer of folk songs, the laureate of international festivals and competitions, the finalist of the television project “People's Artist-3” - Marina Devyatova.

Over 250 musicians, both professionals and young lovers of choral singing, will take part in the concert. 

The meeting, which took place in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, was also attended by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Yulia Adgamova, heads of relevant departments and directors of the leading theaters of the republic. On the Turkish side, Mustafa Kurt, Director General of State Theaters in Turkey.

This year, 24 theaters from 6 countries of the world came to the festival of theaters in the provincial town of Buinsk.

Over the 13 years of its existence, the action has gained extraordinary popularity.
