The site for the meeting was not chosen by chance. In the coming days, this museum, after major repairs, will open its doors to its visitors. Its premises have been equipped with new lighting and exhibition equipment, they have brought a modern design concept to the whole space. At the same time maintaining the unique atmosphere of the memorial apartment of Sharif Kamal, the spirit and energy of that time. The main task of the “new” museum is to become the long-awaited House of the national Tatar book. The new head of this cultural institution, Louise Yansuar, invited journalists to attend upcoming events.
At the beginning of her traditional meeting with media representatives, Minister Irada Ayupova said that in five months many major events took place in the republic, initiatives on cultural activities were launched, exhibitions and festivals were successfully opened, and performances were premiered.
“The half year was intense, and I thank you that you worked with us. We appreciate your expert opinion, feedback on the quality of our work and ask you, if necessary, to criticize my activities and the work of my team. We need more feedback about our work, ”the Minister of Culture told reporters.
As the moderator of the meeting, Advisor to the Minister Ruslan Shigabetdinov, noted, the questions adopted at past meetings with journalists were taken to work and brought to the attention of cultural institutions. Within the framework of the “5K” concept, the minister recalled that during any festivals in Tatarstan, it is necessary to use the capital of visiting experts with benefit for the republic.
“We are ready to pay for projects, but experts who come to our festivals should bring something to the treasury of our capitalization. I mean meetings with students of our universities. Offer in the development of our cultural projects. Experts should invest in the competence of our young people - this is an absolutely correct vector, ”said Ayupova.
On the other hand, we need to constantly be in dialogue with both invited experts and our federal and foreign partners. For example, during the Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema this year, we focused on the development of the film market, co-production, co-production and promotion of films. However, at the end of the festival, we asked ourselves the question that was laid in the motto of the festival: “Did the same dialogue of cultures take place? I mean, we should constantly ask ourselves such questions, ”she shared.
The minister recalled that the center of cultural life in the republic is still being pulled to major cities - Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk. This trend, she said, must change. As an example, the minister cited the national theater festival “Bois: a space of dialogue”, which was positively marked by critics. To the number of positive changes she attributed the changes that have occurred with local viewers.
“It was the third festival in Buinsk, and I must say that in the first year, people came into the hall with empty eyes, they did not reflect. Today this spectator has its own spectator - it sympathizes, it penetrates and already understands what the director was trying to say, ”the minister emphasized.
During the conversation with representatives of the media, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke about the projects implemented and inquired about the opinions of journalists about such recent events as the holding of the International Competition of Vocalists. M.I. Glinka, the award of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai, as well as other projects that have passed this year. She recalled the opening of the new Ilgam Shakirov Concert Hall at the Kazan Expo exhibition center. According to her, the concert hall is very large and equipped in accordance with modern technical requirements, while you need to get used to the hall, because “there are always nuances and difficulties on any new venue”.
The journalists took an interest in the minister’s opinion on the situation with the appropriation of the names of famous Tatar singers Alfiya Afzalova and Ilgam Shakirov to the streets of Kazan. Irada Ayupova noted that memory and perpetuation should not be limited solely to the appearance of tablets with the names of cultural figures on the houses of our cities. In her opinion, the names of great people should acquire a new life in creative ideas and new projects.
“This memory should be transmitted as an impulse to the next generations and should live - in literary and musical works, theatrical performances, creative projects of the youth. We should not only be
