On June 9, the Tatar national holiday “Sabantuy-2019”, timed to the Year of Active Investments and Social Development in Uzbekistan, was held at  the Central Culture and Recreation Park of Tashkent.

The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan also included: Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of Milli Shura of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev; Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan  Irada Ayupova;  Head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aidar Metshin; Director General of PJSC TATNEFT Nail Maganov. It should be noted that the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District is a co-organizer of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Federal Sabantuy in 2019 in the city of Novosibirsk.

Special attention is paid by the organizers to the cultural program. 

The collective of the Ekiyat Puppet Theater was represented by First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yulia Adgamova, and  director of the theater, Roza Yapparova.

Today in the republic  festive events dedicated to the Day of the Russian language and the 220th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin are under way. 

He was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Asgat Safarov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov and others.

The main celebrations will traditionally take place at the monument to Alexander Pushkin near the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after M.Jalil.

The Puppet Theater "Ekiat"   has  won two diplomas at the International Perekrestok Puppet Theater Festival in Novosibirsk.

The corresponding order has been signed by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova. 

The opening ceremony of the festival was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture Damir Natfullin.
