Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin laid flowers at the monument to the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin and took part in a solemn event in honor of the Day of the Russian Language, which was held at the Tatar State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Musa Dzhalil.
The flower-laying ceremony was held at the foot of the monument to Alexander Pushkin, installed on the sunny side of the Kazan Opera Theater.
