Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, has visited in Kazan a renovated Cultural Center named after A.S. Pushkin. He was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Asgat Safarov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov and others.
The creation of the center was initiated by the Russian National Cultural Association of the Republic of Tatarstan at a meeting with the President of Tatarstan in 2016. The main task of the center is to preserve and strengthen the unity of the multinational people of Tatarstan, the distinctiveness of the Russian people, the development of the Russian language, the culture of speech, the traditions of the Russian national culture, etc.
Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the results of the overhaul of the Cultural Center named. A.S. Pushkin. Builders completed the repair of the roof, entrance groups, facade, engineering networks. Internal finishing works and improvement of the adjacent territory.
During the inspection of the center, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan visited a buffet where Russian traditional dishes were shown, a museum and exhibition hall, an office of the Russian national culture department, a concert hall for 320 seats.
At the youth studio with the participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, the results of the campaign “Total dictation” in Tatarstan were summed up. The organizers reported that over 6 thousand people from all municipalities of the republic wrote the text this year. In nomination "The most active educational institution of the Republic of Tatarstan" has won the Kazan National Research Technological University. The Laishevsky district has won first place in nomination "The most active municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan". And in nomination “The most active youth movement of the Republic of Tatarstan”, the organization “Russian student teams” wins.
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the winners of the “Total dictation” and wished that next year even more Tatarstanians would join the action.
Then the President of Tatarstan held a meeting with the creative intelligentsia and activists of the Russian National Cultural Association of the Republic of Tatarstan. “I am sincerely pleased with our regular meeting, which takes place in this beautiful center named after Alexander Pushkin. There are very active people who are not indifferent to the issues of preserving the Russian national culture and traditions, ”said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Vasily Nosov, chairman of the board of the Russian National Cultural Association of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that the meeting with the leadership of the republic is being held for the fifth time. According to him, a lot of work is being done in the republic to support Russian creative collectives. In particular, he thanked the President of Tatarstan for the allocation of funds for the purchase of concert costumes.
“In recent years, we have intensified, performed a whole range of matters. The monument to saints Peter and Fevronia has been unveiled, installed memorial plaques to our benefactor Yakov Shamov and scientist Dmitry Likhachev. The cultural center is the completion of our large-scale program. I think this big teamwork will benefit both Kazan and the whole republic, ”he added.
Further, the meeting participants discussed issues related to the activities of the Russian National Cultural Association in the cities and regions of the republic.
