September 4 - 6, the Kazan State Institute of Culture will host the IX Kazan International Festival of Amateur Youth and Children's Cinema, which is annually held in the framework of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.

The literary and music festival will open on the eve of the birth of Vasily Pavlovich Aksenov.

In Tatarstan, a competition has been  launched to provide subsidies from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to non-profit organizations that  are going to implement socially significant projects.

August 16, at 10.45,  at the park on Bolshaya Krasnaya Street, 35 Kazan  a monument to the composer, pianist, People's Artist of the USSR, music author of the State Anthem of the Republic of Tatarstan, a laureate of the G.Tukai State Award  Rustem Yakhin is to be unveiled.

On August 15, at 17.00, the "Mir" cinema  hosts  the presentation of the film "Fate" directed by Zhang Wei about the confrontation of an autistic boy with Chinese society.

The event was attended by Chairman of the State Council, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Head of Aznakaevsky Municipal District Marcel Shaydullin, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Sharipova.

August 16-19, 2017 will see the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow.

Within August 25-29, a month before the opening of the theatrical season, the Tatar State Academic Theater named after Kamal will show 5 performances.

September 15 marks 130 years after the birth of the great Tatar dramatist, actor and director Karim Tinchurin.

Over the years the Kazan Kremlin LIVE festival, which is admired by Kazaners, grew, gained strength and acquired much loyal audience.
