August 16, at 10.45,  at the park on Bolshaya Krasnaya Street, 35 Kazan  a monument to the composer, pianist, People's Artist of the USSR, music author of the State Anthem of the Republic of Tatarstan, a laureate of the G.Tukai State Award  Rustem Yakhin is to be unveiled.

It is expected that a solemn ceremony will be attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
