Today in the Aznakaevsky district the VII International Festival of Folk Art of the Turkic Nations "Chattyrtaudazhyen" held

The event was attended by Chairman of the State Council, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Head of Aznakaevsky Municipal District Marcel Shaydullin, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Sharipova.

"It is especially gratifying that the geography of the festival participants is expanding every year," Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin shared. - This shows its popularity not only among amateur artists, but also about the interest to it from professional folklorists. Such festivals introduce us to the culture of other nations, serve to strengthen mutual understanding and unite people. "

This year more than thirty folklore groups from our republic and neighboring Bashkortostan took part in a  festive concert. There were exhibitions of masters of arts and crafts and national farmsteads. Everyone could take part in  presentation and tasting of national culinary dishes.

Reference:  The Festival "Chatyrtaudazhyen" (translation – convention on  Tent-mountain) is being  carried out since  year 2011. The project  of  folklore festival of Turkic peoples "The Chatyrtaudazhyen" has been  designed to promote folk traditions, language, customs, old folk songs and dances of the Turkic peoples, perpetuating pride   of the Aznakaevsky district - Mount Chatyr tau.

The Mount Chatyrltau in Aznakaevsky district is the highest geographical point of Tatarstan. According to legend, in ancient times, "Jien" (Convention),  is held annually on the mountain, on which social issues were discussed.
