The IX Kazan International Festival of Amateur Youth and Children's Cinema received more than 350 applications
September 4 - 6, the Kazan State Institute of Culture will host the IX Kazan International Festival of Amateur Youth and Children's Cinema, which is annually held in the framework of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.
The festival is aimed at multiplying the spiritual, intellectual and cultural potential of young people through the introduction to filmmaking.
The geography of the participants is expanding every year. The festival presents more than 350 applications from Russia, Belarus, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Italy, Iran, Uzbekistan, Iraq.
The projects presented in 13 categories: the best feature film, the best production project, the documentary, the animated film, the commercial, the video clip, the TV project, the patriotic film, the best children's project, the children's feature film, the best children's documentary film / TV Project, the best children's commercial, the best children's animation film.
Within the framework of the festival master classes, creative meetings with famous figures of national and world cinematography, round tables will be held.
Chairman of the festival jury is Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova. Chairman of the organizing committee is Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Sharipova.
Founders of the festival are: the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The organizer of the festival is the Kazan State Institute of Culture with the support of the State Library of the Republic of Tajikistan "Tatarkino", the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan.
