By the decision of UNESCO, April18, International Day of monuments and historical places is celebrated all over the world.

The aim of the festival is development of theatrical art, widening of art amateur repertoire, raising mastership of actors amateurs, level of director-production works, demonstration of performances of folk theatres to a broad spectator audience, exchange of work experience, rendering methodical and practical assistance to artistes of folk theatres.

March 25, a professional festive of cultural workers, marked in the Russian federation - Day of cultural workers. It was set up on August 28, 2007, by the edict of President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin.

Day of cultural workers appeared in the list of official holydays in our country not occasionally. It became possible thanks to a weighty contribution of many generations of cultural workers in social –economic development of the country.

March 22-24, 2012, a magazine Druzhba narodov under support of interstate fund of humanitarian cooperation of state-participants при of the CIS( IFSC) holds a humanitarian action in Kazan called –«Visiting session of editorial board, writers, translators, publicists, editors and members of editorial boards of national literature publications of the CIS and Baltic states».
