Magazine Druzhba narodov (friendship of peoples) holds session «friendship of confessions»

March 22-24, 2012, a magazine Druzhba narodov under support of interstate fund of humanitarian cooperation of state-participants при of the CIS( IFSC) holds a humanitarian action in Kazan called –«Visiting session of editorial board, writers, translators, publicists, editors and members of editorial boards of national literature publications of the CIS and Baltic states».
The halls of RT Ministry of culture and National library of Tatarstan during the days of the event will become creative labs, discussion platforms for discussing the problems of inter-ethnic and interreligious relations.
The aims of the event:
– searching answers for existing problems of the modernity;
– approaching writers of the CIS and Baltic countries;
– strengthening originality of the participants in aspiration not to lose historically developed cultural solidarity;
– uniting cultural potential and widening literature and art –translation connections between the CIS states- participants .
Opening of the session will take place in a conference hall of the RT Ministry of culture with participation of RT first deputy minister of culture Irada Ayupova, and with the representatives of clergy and Kazan professorate, members of RT Union of writers board and Kazan writers. Also, Round table chaired by RT State Council chairman on culture, education and national issues will be held with participation of the CIS countries, Baltic states and RT Union of writers members themed – «Prospects of strengthening friendship of peoples and development of humanitarian relations by means of literature».
