Dear Tatarstaners!

March 25, a professional festive of cultural workers, marked in the Russian federation - Day of cultural workers. It was set up on August 28, 2007, by the edict of President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin.

Day of cultural workers appeared in the list of official holydays in our country not occasionally. It became possible thanks to a weighty contribution of many generations of cultural workers in social –economic development of the country.

Culture is our heritage and richness, sparingly passed from generation to generation. Progress of the culture sphere provides a reliable link between generations and peoples, spiritual making of personality and its morale foundations in the cause of educating young generation on the basis of love to their country and nation. Therefore Day of cultural workers – is more than simply a professional holyday.

This festive is celebrated by guardians and creators of culture - museum and library employees, figures of theatres and concert organizations, specialists of houses of culture, town and village clubs, amateur art collectives .
Last years, the institutions of culture of our republic announced about themselves, cooperating with leading museums and theatres of the world.

Tatarstan since last has become a platform for major international forums and festivals, and its collectives and artistes by their mastership successfully conquer cultural capitals of the world. The monuments of architecture, history, culture of Tatarstan from year in year out attract more and more tourists.
People of our profession – bright, creative , captured initiative persons .

There are no indifferent and occasional.

This is the work for those who have talent and vocation, strong character and big soul.

I hope that Day of cultural workers – festive not only for workers of the branch but for all those who cannot help but live without theatre and painting, who visits museums and libraries, attends music and art schools .
