M.Jalil theatre of opera and ballet invites for press-conference

May 15, 12.00, a press-conference dedicated to “Surprises” of a jubilee forum and history of Nuriev festival will take place in a Rosy reception room.
Participants of the press action will be eyewitnesses of coming Rudolf Nuriev to Kazan – art director of ballet of theatre of opera and ballet (TAGTOB)Vladimir Yakovlev, ballet critic Natalya Sadovskaya (Moscow), deputy director of the theatre Yuri Larionov and guests of the current festival – conductor Karen Durgaryan (Erevan and theater specialist Sergei Korobkov (Moscow).
After the conference, chief of TAGTO museum Ramzia Taktash will conduct excursion, including posters and photos of the first forums.
May 15 at 18.00, a XXV International festival of classic ballet named after Rudolf Nuriev will be opened at Tatar theatre of opera and ballet.
Dozens of outstanding dancers of our times, hundreds of measures, over two hundred thousand spectators, пhaving visited the festival performances, – all this is a part of history of Kazan ballet show. The event which stirred development of the forum became arrival of Rudolf Nuriev to the capital of Tatarstan. This happened 20 years ago, in May of 1992.
