On the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, the opening of the exhibition "The Great Silk Road" from the collection of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve took place at the Ufa Art Gallery.

The festival  has ended with a great holiday in the courtyard of the house 29 on the Volkov  street  with tea and performance of Kazan musicians.

Monument to the Tatar poet was installed in the park at the intersection of Salimzhanov  and Hadi Taktash  streets.

In Kazan, memorial plaques have been unveiled for Tatarstan's statesmen F.Tabeyev and G.I. Usmanov

August 30 at 20.00 on the square near the Farmers' Palace  a concert of the traditional VII Opera Festival in the open air "Kazan Autumn" will take place.
