Exhibition of watercolors by Andrei Yesionov "Balance" in National Art Gallery "Khazine"

Acting Minister and First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elvira Kamalova, expressed her sincere admiration for the beauty of the master's works, who personally came to Kazan to open the exposition.

We owe huge gratitude to the leadership of the State Museum of Fine Arts. Believe me, these are not reciprocal compliments. I know how much is being done by the State Museum of Fine Arts and the Kazan Kremlin to fill these sacred walls for us, the interiors with a very lively, contemporary sounding of poetics that is enclosed in this beautiful watercolor,» said the acting Minister and First Deputy Minister of culture the Republic of Tatarstan.

The uthor of the works was introduced by the arts critic, academician, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, editor-in-chief of the Tretyakov Gallery, Alexander Rozhin.

Andrei Kimovich Esionov is a painter and graphic artist, a master of portrait and urban landscape. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, the Moscow Association of Artists of the International Art Fund, the Union of Artists of Russia.

The artist was born on November 30, 1963 in Tashkent.

In 1981 he graduated from the Republican specialized music and art boarding school, specializing in graphic arts. In the same year he entered the Tashkent State Theater and Art Institute named after Ostrovsky, where he received an academic education in the department of easel painting.

Now the artist lives and works in Moscow. Andrei Esionov is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, his works are recognized with awards of the Russian Academy of Arts and the TSHR. He is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts and a laureate and winner of several prestigious international arts festivals.

Esionov's works are in the collections of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg).
