December 8 and 9, Kazan will host the next event of the project "City buildings" - an interactive traveling exhibition by works of the great Russian artists. Within a month, on the walls of the famous architectural ensembles, located in the Russian cities, will be projected paintings from the State Tretyakov Gallery.
The aim of the project - to expand the artistic space of Russian cities and attract attention of their residents to the cultural heritage of the country. To do this, the walls of city buildings have become a "canvas" for the 20 works of art, late XIX - early XX century - from "Morning in a Pine Forest" by Ivan Shishkin to "March" by Isaac Levitan. The project has already visited Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm and Ufa.
In these days, the Kazan citizens will be able to witness a scale spectacle unfolding on the walls of the Kazan Kremlin from the street Baturin. Slideshow composed of works by Russian classics and the most impressive piece of the picture, will be broadcast for the townspeople from 18.00 until midnight.
Mobile-project "City buildings" is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. After a visit to Kazan, the interactive exhibition will visit Nizhny Novgorod.
