November 11, the website of cultural - educational project of the Republic of Tatarstan " The cultural diary of first - grader" has began its work in full. More than 6000 users have registered for a week on a portal kulturnyydnevnik.rf, each day more than 70 thousand people visit the site.

The site visitors are residents of cities and towns, regional centers and villages of the Republic of Tatarstan.  Teachers and librarians, students and their parents, workers of culture and education are presented  on the virtual site. The site holds contests "Best Cultural Diary", "Most cultural parent", "Letters to Zilantik" (on cultural impressions).

"The cultural diary of first - grader" – the Republican cultural and educational project was first implemented in the republic in current academic year (from September 1, 2014 to May 26, 2015). Each first grader of Tatarstan gets a free library network through colorful "Cultural diary." Throughout the school year, first graders voluntarily attend (organized or individually) the various activities in the theaters, museums, libraries, theaters; objects are marked in the Diary by sticker or stamp. First-grader draws diary pages, performs the offered assignments, paints, makes notes about books, about visits to concerts and plays. Within the project competitions and stimulating actions are held.

The purpose of the project - to promote fundamental cultural values and spiritual enrichment of the younger generation.

Project objectives - to promote the development of cognitive and cultural interest of first-graders, linked to a cultural heritage of the Republic of Tatarstan, to create conditions for their socialization, a cultural form of leisure for the family, filled with visits to cultural institutions and the subsequent discussion, collaborative experiences in a unified information-cultural field, to promote popularization of cultural and art institutions.
