Library for the Blind and Partially sighted has started production of info –explanatory for the blind and partially impaired voters

The Republican Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired started manufacturing outreach materials for the blind and visually impaired voters.

To help Tatarstan voters with limited vision enlarged (for the visually impaired), and Braille printing (for the blind) booklet on ensuring the electoral rights of citizens of the Russian Federation with disabilities, a reminder of the voter on the voting procedure.

Publication of outreach  materials for voters with vision problems is carried out in the framework of cooperation of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republican Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the Tatar branch of All- Regional  Organization of the Blind  (AOB). Materials have been prepared by a working group of the Central Election Commission, and the Library is adapting them to the formats for the blind and visually impaired.

The polling stations located will be provided with informational materials in areas of compact living of the visually impaired.
