The VI International Ethnic Festival "Krutushka" will be held in Tatarstan

The VI International Ethnic Festival "Krutushka" from August 22 to 24, 2014, traditionally in a village Krutushka on the territory of the Camp "Baitik" is held.  

For spectators and participants, this is a meeting with a bright world of the traditional culture of different peoples of Russia and the world: introduction to modern trends in ethnic music, master classes in arts and crafts, fair of original artisans, various art projects, exhibitions, performances, theater and dance presentation, presentation of films and animation, creative evenings with outstanding musicians and more.

Among the participants in the music program of the festival "Krutushka 2014" musicians of «Mesel» from Istanbul for the first time performing in Russia, will present the music of Turkey and the Mediterranean in their original arrangements - soulful and exciting. Project «Kalander» with participation of the Indian scene star Parul Mishra and the St. Petersburg group «Samhey» will present the listeners fascinating interpretations of folk melodies of India combined with a unique female vocals. A real surprise would be the solo project of Tuvan throat singing  master Radik Tyulyush known in the group "Huun-Hur-Tu": specifically and only for "Krutushka" a world music diva of Tatar lady singer Zyula Kamalova comes out with him.

This year, for the first time at the festival, an original male of polyphony Mordovian legendary band "Torama", Armenian duduk from «Argishty», Latin American rhythms of the female ensemble «Tambores» (Moscow) will sound. Among beloved by the audience favorite performers - multi-innovator Vladisvar Nadishana (Germany) with a fresh design, Penza "Wanderers" energetic Africans «Kimbata», world famous for its unique voice of singer Namgar of Buryatia.

Especially rich and varied this year is an ethnographicpart. Music of Tatars Kryashens, Russians, Maris, Chuvashs, Mordovians Udmurts by the best teams from all over the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga region will sound at the Krutushka .

Festival Krutushka traditional is a family one, called to unite representatives of the older and younger generations. Parents will be interested in lectures and master classes in ethnopedagogics for little ones audience - folk games, theatrical performances, a variety of shops in a new purpose -built fabulous "Children's Town."

This year's festival "Krutushka" has received a state support in the framework of the program "Implementation of the state national policy in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 - 2020 years," the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. Organizers of the festival:  Center of Information Technologies in Education, Creative Association  Anto  with the support of the RT  Ministry of Culture, the RT  Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism,  Administration of the RT Vysokogorsky municipal region.
