Today, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan has summed up the results of republican competitions in the field of museum affairs and presented a new exposition for colleagues
As part of the jubilee events dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, a festive program for colleagues - leaders and employees of the republic's museums has been held today. Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova took part in the event.
A tour of the new exposition "History of Tatarstan from ancient times to the present day" was organized for the guests. It is based on the richest collections that have been formed throughout the history of the museum. Occupying impressive areas (more than 3 thousand sq. m.) and presenting the most valuable rarities, it tells about the ancient and medieval history of Tatarstan, about the Kazan region in the XVI-XVIII centuries. and Kazan province in the XIX - early XX century, about the history of Tatarstan during the Soviet period and today.
After visiting the exposition, the results of two republican competitions were summed up: "Museum of the Year - 2019" and "Best Correspondent Office - 2019" of the virtual museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Republic of Tatarstan. The first competition is intended to stimulate the professional development of the museum community. The second one reflects one of the key areas - patriotic work, preservation of memory and collection of documents about the war.
The winners in the republican competition "Museum of the Year - 2019" were the followng:
- in the nomination "The Best State Museum" - GIAHMZ "Kazan Kremlin";
- in the nomination "The Best Municipal Museum" - the Apastovo Museum of Local Lore;
- in the nomination "Best corporate museum" - Theater Museum KARBDT after V.I. Kachalov;
- in the nomination "The best museum of an educational institution" - Museum of the history of Kazan University (K (P) FU).
Agliullina Lyudmila Tagirovna, head of the department of scientific and methodological work of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, became the best in the special nomination "Professional".
Also, the winners of the competition "Best correspondent office-2019" of the Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, RT were marked.
