Madina Timerzyanova became director of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. In this position, she replaced Syuyumbika Ziganshina, who had headed the main book depository of the republic since January 2015.
“The library of the future is a big challenge. Here we needed a person who would look at this space from the outside, but with extensive experience in administrative and organizational work. Madina Fatykhovna is exactly the person who knows how to create and maintain collectives in very difficult periods, ”said Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, introducing the new director to the collective.
Syuyumbika Razilievna Ziganshina thanked the collective for joint well-coordinated work and expressed gratitude to Minister of Culture and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for their trust.
Until recently, Madina Timerzyanova worked as deputy general director of the television and radio company Novy Vek (TNV). Prior to that, she headed the Kazan TV and Radio Company (2006 - 2016), the Horriyat non-profit foundation for supporting information, analytical and cultural activities.
Madina Timerzyanova graduated from Kazan State Pedagogical University with a degree in history, social science and English (1979). Member of the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio. Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. By the decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, for her great contribution to the development of the media, for many years of fruitful work, she was awarded the medal of the Republic of Tatarstan "For Valiant Labor".
