“Tatara is the heritage of Eurasia” is a joint project developed with the close cooperation of the Embassy of Japan in Russia and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. As conceived by the authors, the performance should become one of the brightest events in the cultural life of next year. It is planned to involve various types of art, including modern digital technologies.
The creative team included cultural and art figures from both the Tatarstan and Japanese sides: the head of Japanese artists, the pioneer of the projection show Sakakura Katsumi; dancer, performer Miyamoto Mami; director Tufan Imamutdinov; composer Elmir Nizamov; projection show director, computer designer Rashid Osmanov, etc.
“Today it is very important for all of us to seek not differences, but common ground. The more we learn about each other’s cultures, the closer our peoples will become, ”said the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to Irada Ayupova, the task of the authors is to create, first of all, an educational project that will open a new page in history, which will help motivate young people who perceive more modern broadcasting methods to know themselves.
At today's meeting, the parties discussed copyright issues and possible platforms for the presentation of the show, while in Kazan, because the creative group plans to show the performance to residents of other countries of the world where the Tatar and Japanese diasporas are strong.
