At the Mir cinema, creative meetings will be held with Vadim Abdrashitov and Yevgeny Tsymbal in the framework of Aksenov-fest-2017

August 19-23  Kazan will host the XI Music and Literary Festival "Aksenov-fest-2017". In the cinema "Mir"  two bright events within the framework of the festival - creative meetings with famous Russian filmmakers will be held.

For film lovers, Vadim Abdrashitov is known as a director whose films with amazing consistency and perceptiveness reproduce on the screen the twists and turns of the times. In the center of his film, acute moral problems.

In Kazan, the director will present his famous work "The Time of the Dancer".

Reference: the film "The Time of the Dancer" was presented to the general public in 1997. It  narrates about the life of three comrades after the war in the Caucasus. Friends have long been familiar, once they lived together in a small town in the northern Urals, worked on mines and construction sites. They came to the war with Cossack detachments. And after the war, a peaceful life begins, but full of anxieties, hopes, difficulties. The film  received many awards.

August 22 at 19.00 at the Mir cinema house Vadim Abdrashitov and his no less famous colleague - director, actor, screenwriter and editor, winner of the National Film Award "Nika" (2002, 2006 and 2015), British Academy of Film and Television Award (BAFTA) , Member of the board of the Russian Society of Rightholders in the audiovisual sphere, and the author of a number of articles and studies on the history of cinema and literature, Yevgeny Tsymbal, will talk about literature in documentary and feature films.
