July 27, 2017 at the age of 58, died Tatar  lady singer, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Biktagirova Khaniya Farkhislamovna (Khaniya Farkhi).

Khaniya Farkhi was born on May 30, 1960 in the Verkhnaya Salaevka of the Tatyshlinsky District of the Bashkir ASSR.

Khania Farkhi  began   working after graduating from the Kazan Theater College in 1985 at the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after K. Tinchurin. The audience remembered her by performances "Bez bit  Aval Malaye" (We are the village guys)  by  T. Mynnullin, "Ak kyugarchnar" (White Pigeons)   by  R. Batulla, "Makarzhaga Bargan Idek" (For Fair)   by  I. Yuzeev.

In 1988, in the Tatar ensemble "Bayram" at the Moscow Regional Philharmonic  the career of Khania Farkha as a pop singer  began. The creative collective enjoyed a special popularity among the admirers of the Tatar musical art.

Songs in her performance sounded in the programs of television and Tatar radio. The repertoire of the singer has about a thousand songs, including ancient Tatar, Bashkir folk songs, songs of modern composers and works of authorship, many of which are truly loved by spectators.

The singer was very popular with the songs: "Sagynam ale, Pitrych" (I miss you, Pestrety), "Aldermeshlek kaitam ale" (I'll return back to Aldyrmysh), "Upkyalsyan, aida, upkyalya" (You are offended, so take offense), "Onytylir Dim" (Do not say that you will forget), "Kazan Kichlre" (Kazan evenings), etc.

For many years Khania Farkhi adequately represented the culture and art of the Tatar people, performed in Central Asia and Siberia, Kazakhstan, Bashkortostan, Orenburg and other cities. Her concerts were held at the same time and at a high professional level.

Throughout her creative activity, Khania Farkhi revealed the talent of many young artists who later continued their independent creative activity.

High skills and conscientious work of Khania Farhi have been  awarded with state awards, among them the medal "In memory of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan", the medal "For valorous work", the Letter of Thanks by  President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
