Orthodox believers celebrate the Day of the Adoption of Christianity of Rus’

July 28 in Russia  one of the most important church holidays - the Day of the Baptism of Russia is celebrated. This date has become an important milestone in the history of the country, influencing its further cultural and historical development.

Events dedicated to the baptism of Rus’, return us to the beginnings of Russian statehood, contribute to preserving the memory of the origins of Slavic culture, spirituality and  consolidation of the multinational people of Russia on the basis of the principles of patriotism, which for centuries has strengthened our state.
