From September 5 to 11 within the framework of the XIII Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, the All-Russian Forum "The Time of Cinema" will be held for the fourth time

The main areas of the laboratory will be the Mir cinema and Nogai hotel conference room, a number of events will be held in the show room of the Kazan Federal University. The forum will be opened with master classes by actor and director Kirill Pletnev (featuring his debut full-length feature film "Burn!") and producer Ruben Dishdishyan, who will talk about the promotion of films on  rating federal channels.

The forum will be devoted to the features of film screening in Russia and abroad. Its speakers will be filmmakers and film distributors from Russia and foreign countries.

The forum will host a "Day of Kazan presentations," where Tatarstan filmmakers will talk about their new projects at the production stage.

We remind  initially the Forum "The Time of Cinema" was conceived as an educational site for young filmmakers, but over the past three years the format of the event has changed. In  spring of 2017, at the 3rd forum, pitching was held for the first time, where several Tatarstan projects were presented, one of which received a cash prize for post-production, as well as producer support.
