The 12th International Art Symposium on Contemporary Art "Rites and Customs" will be held in Yelabuga

From July  10 to 20, the   Elabuga State Museum-Reserve will hold the XII International Art Symposium on Contemporary Art "Rites and Customs". The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the branch of the Union of Russian Artists of Tatarstan. The symposium will be attended by members of professional art and creative unions from six countries: Russia, Hungary, Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Artists will perform works in the techniques of painting and graphics (unique and printed) on the stated topic.

The result of the creative meeting will be an exhibition of a collection of new works, which will be exhibited in the halls of Russian museums. Works of its participants will be put on the state account and included in the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation.

For reference, since 2006 the Elabuga Museum-Reserve has conducted 18 art projects, in which 570 artists from 17 countries of the world took part.
