The tour of the Maly Theater will be held in Kazan

29 June 2017, Thursday

From September 14 to 19, 2017 on the stage of the Tatar State Academic Theater after  G. Kamal a traditional tour of the State Academic Maly Theater (Moscow) will be held. The tour of 2017 is the seventh trip of the Moscow theater to the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The tour will open on September 14 and 15 with the play "The Youth of Louis XIV" by A. Dumas-father. The performance of the play relates the audience to those times when the most famous ruler of France - "The King-Sun" Louis XIV was young and his mind was occupied not by government affairs, but by entertainment, ballets, hunting and young favorites. Costumes are made according to the sketches of the famous Russian couturier Vyacheslav Zaitsev. The director of the play is People's Artist of the USSR, a laureate of State Prizes of Russia Yuri Solomin.

On September 16 and 17 the theater-goers of Kazan are waiting for the comedy by  Alexander Ostrovsky "Not all cats are carnival." On the release of a new stage version of one of the most witty and funny plays of the great Russian playwright, the production team headed by director Vitaly Ivanov worked. Music for the performance was written by composer Maxim Dunaevsky. Artists of the Maly Theater will tell you an instructive story about how the rich merchant Yermil Zotych Akhov and his clerk Hippolytus sought the hand of a modest but firm girl in her decisions Agnia.

On September 18 and 19, the audience will see the comedy "A Heart Is Not a Stone" based on the play by Alexander Ostrovsky and staged by V.N. Dragunov. The plot of the play may seem simple and unpretentious: a rich merchant is sick and wants to make a will, but his doubts are rife, who will leave his  serious wealth- a young wife, a lazy nephew,  the  poor, so that  they  remembered  him every day in prayer? History, as, indeed, always with Ostrovsky, is modern and consonant with any time. The main role is played by the laureate of the State Prizes of Russia, People's Artist of Russia Vasily Bochkarev.
