Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, has visited the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Lenino-Kokushkino" (Pestrechinsky District).
The President of Tatarstan was accompanied by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullin, Presidential Assistant of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, Aide to the RT President Leila Fazleeva, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Persova.
For Rustam Minnikhanov, a short tour of the territory of the manor and a museum was organized. Explanations gave director of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Lenino-Kokushkino" Rustam Abdurakhimov.
A lecturer-guide of the museum Anna Pigasova briefly told about the leisure and everyday life of the Ulyanov’s family, who rested in a manor every summer.
The museum includes a two-storey house-estate of Alexander Blank, summer outbuildings, as well as a park with trees, decorative bushes, a birch grove and elements of improvement. In the collection of the museum objects of applied art, life and ethnography, documents, objects of the natural-science collection, etc.
Rustam Minnikhanov and museum director Rustam Abdurakhimov discussed the issues of repairing and reconstructing buildings in the museum. The explanations were also given by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Persova.
For reference. Object of cultural heritage of regional (republican) significance "The house where in 1888 - 1889. The Ulyanov family lived "was put on state protection by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of 23.07.1997 № 599. Since 1936 the Lenin Museum has been located in the estate.
In 2003, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Lenino-Kokushkino" was organized on the basis of the Lenin Museum in the village of Lenino-Kokushkino in order to preserve the estate of the nineteenth century of A.D. Blank.
The territory of the museum-reserve is 7.6 hectares.
The total number of exhibits of the museum-reserve is 753 units, including subjects of graphics, sculpture, arts and crafts, everyday life and ethnography, documents, subjects of the natural-scientific collection and others.
