Young cinematographers of Tatarstan go to VGIK

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the first stage of selection of applicants for target places  allotted by the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov for  2017-2018 school year.

This year, the selection for the specialties of cameramen, producer, directing  feature and non-feature films. Members of the selection committee, which consisted of Deserved figures of culture and artsof  the Republic of Tatarstan, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Culture of RT Guzel Sharipova marked  the quality of creative works from the portfolio of applicants. Many participants showed a high level of knowledge of  history of the  world and national cinema. According to the results of the first round, the commission recommended 12 people for passing  to the next stage.

June, 13 at 14.00 in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan  will hold  the second stage of the selection, which is to  determine the names of those who, on  recommendation of the commission, will go to the entrance exams to Moscow in the summer.
