A press conference at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan dedicated to the tour of the Russian State Academic Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin held

The press conference was attended by:   RT First Deputy Minister of Culture  Elvira Kamalova; Honored Artist of Russia and the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the  RT Union of Theatrical Figures, Chief director of the Tatar State Academic theatre after  G. Kamal, a laureate of the  G. Tukai State Award of the Republic of Tatarstan, a nominee of the national theater award  "Golden Mask" Farid Bikchantaev; People's Artist of Russia, a laureate of four State awards of Russia, art director of the Alexandrinsky Theater Valery Fokin; People's Artist of Russia, leading actor of the Alexandrinsky Theater Nikolai Marton; People's Artist of Russia, a leading actor of the Alexandrinsky Theater Sergei Parshin.

"For us it is a great honor and great joy to receive this famous, legendary theatrical group, because the history of the Alexandrinsky Theater is the history of Russian theater art. That Gogol, whom we will see, is a great holiday for amateurs  of the theater, "noted the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Elvira Kamalova, welcoming the guests.

"We brought two Gogol's plays. Gogol is the playwright, who in this theater is very important when he was a young playwright, he made his debut on the stage of Alexandrinka, as well as Chekhov. These two performances ("Inspector", "Marriage") are different and we brought them in order to fully acquaint you with the Gogol theme, how we are trying to work with the classics, "said the artistic director of the Alexandrinsky Theater Valery Fokin.

In the second part of the press conference, the guests answered questions from journalists.

We  remind that  on the Grand Stage of the Tatar State Academic Theater  after  G. Kamal  will be played performances-laureates of the "Golden Mask" award "Marriage" and "Inspector".
