"Music of Victory" will sound again in Kazan

May 6  at  the capital of Tatarstan on the Kremlin embankment  a unique event is to be held  - brass bands from all over the republic will gather at one venue. The festival "Music of Victory in Parks and Squares" will be held within the framework of the federal project "Historical Memory". Its goal is to popularize  wind music and revive the tradition of recreation in the park areas, which was lost at the end of the last century.

The idea of ​​the festival belongs to the students of the Kazan Conservatory. The author of the project is a graduate  Maria Vatagina. Its implementation became possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan,  heads of executive committees of municipalities,  administration of the Kazan State Conservatory,  administration of the Kremlin Embankment and the Association "Wind   Music  Society" of the RT who responded to the youth initiative and helped organize the event.

The festival will feature orchestras from Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, Almetyevsk, Yelabuga, Aznakaevo, Mamadysh, Shemordan, Kukmora, Muslyumovo, as well as metropolitan bands: brass bands of the Kazan Conservatory  after  N.G.  Zhiganov, Kazan Musical College  after  I.V. Aukhadeev and pop-jazz orchestra of the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts. In addition, soloists, choreographic and vocal groups will take part in the concert. Among the participants of the large-scale festival are students of the Kazan Art College, which throughout the day will draw thematic pictures.

To listen to famous songs and melodies, to plunge into the festive atmosphere of the postwar period all wishing  are invited. The beginning of the event is at 11.00 am, admission is free.
