Dates of celebration of Sabantuy in 2017 in Tatarstan set

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov   has signed a decree on  time of Sabantuy celebration this year. The text of the document is published on the website of the head of the republic.

It follows that in rural settlements and district centers the plow festival is planned to be celebrated on July 1 and 2, in Naberezhnye Chelny on July 8, and in Kazan on July 15.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and local authorities are instructed to ensure  organization of festive events in the specified time. To participate in  organization and holding Sabantuy, it is proposed to join public associations, enterprises and organizations.
