Kazan cinematographers started to produce the film "Legion of Honor"

The Kazan production studio MalcolmCo   has  announced  creation of a documentary film “Legion of Honor”. This is a picture about  Tatar soldiers who defended their country during the First World War. The film is based on the unique shots of newsreels that have never been shown anywhere before, as well as on unpublished letters of soldiers.

For today, a synopsis, a script, a budget and a calendar - production plan are ready.

Work on the project: Alexandra  Serova – a scriptwriter, local historian; Maxim Malkov is  a director, a member of the Guild of Non-Fiction Movies and TV of Russia, a teacher at the St. Petersburg Film and TV School; Anastasia Perevezentseva - coordinator, director of the picture; Alexei Averyanov - a cameraman- filmmaker, postproduction; Sergei Tutayev - sound engineer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ravil Ibragimov - local historian, famous Kazan gold prospector.

The collected money will go to: shooting, reconstruction of events involving the cast, sound, writing author music, editing, color correction, getting a rental certificate, organizing a premiere film in one of the cinemas in Kazan.
