"Madame Butterfly" will open tour in the Netherlands

Today,  February 28, in a city  Emmen (Netherlands), the opera "Madame Butterfly" will start touring opera company of the  M. Jalil  Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet. In total during, the tour of the Kazan company will give 24 performances and 5 Gala concerts in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, The Hague, Almere, Gouda and other cities.
The main roles in the productions performed by the soloists: Cio-Cio-San - Gulnora Gatina (M.Jalil TAGTOiB), Lilia Grevtsova (Taras Shevchenko National Opera House of Ukraine), Pinkerton - Ahmed Agadi (Mariinsky Theatre)).
The opera "Madama Butterfly" has been  staged at the theater since  2009, director Mikhail Pandzhavidze. Stage design of the play created a theater artist Igor Grinevich.
More than 20 years of the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet after M. Dzhalil  holds major tour. The traditional touring routes by   opera and ballet troupes are the cities of Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, France, Norway and others. Today, the brand Staatsoper of  Tatarstan is widely known among the European public.
