"Accordion Extravaganza"

February 17-19, 2017,  Kazan Music College. after  I. V. Aukhadeev  will  host  IV International contest-festival of young performers on  accordion and bayan "Accordion Extravaganza". Its purpose - to attract the attention of young people to the art of playing on folk instruments. As part of the creative review of concerts, master classes, conferences are scheduled. Author and artistic director of the project - the winner of international and national competitions, teacher of the Kazan State Conservatory  after  N.G. Zhiganov, head of the department of folk keyed instruments of Kazan Musical College   after  I. V. Aukhadeev  Anton Popov. The jury consists of famous Russian performers and teachers. Geography of competition is increasing every year. This year, applications  gave been  received from Moscow, Saint - Petersburg, Saratov, Orsk, Dzerzhinsk, Tyumen, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa and other cities.

The festival will be opened on February 17 at 18.00  in the Big Concert Hall after S. Saidashev   by performance of the folk instruments orchestra of the Kazan Music College  after I.V. Aukhadeev. On February 18, the concert hall of the Kazan Music College  will  hold listening of participants. The competition is  carried out  in two categories - "Solo and Ensemble Performance", including  age categories  from  7 to 15 years. February 19, the names of winners will be announced.
