From April 4 to 6, the capital of Tatarstan will host the III All-Russian Forum "Cinema Time". It is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth Center of the (CU) Cinematographers' Union and GBUK RT (state budget institution of culture "Tatarkino". As part of the planned, review of the creative works in three sections: "Pitching film projects» (Russian regions), "Open republican competition of screenplays" (Republic of Tatarstan) and "Film, journalism" (Kazan). For the first time, "Cinema Time" went beyond the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, and this year it will be held as an independent forum twice a year - in spring and autumn.
Speakers and members of the selection committee, "Pitching film projects," executive director of the Youth Center of the RF CU Dmitry Yakunin, co-chair of the Board of the RF CU of the Youth Center Philip Abryutin, CEO of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio Mikhail Churbanov. The section includes master classes for preparation and finalization of the project to participate in the Russian calendar of festivals and pitching.
"Open republican competition of screenplays", established by the Ministry of Culture, aims to gain practical skills in writing scripts, completion and preparation of scenario projects for pitching and competitions, as well as the integration of talented writers in filmmaking process. The selection committee will include representatives of the scenario of the contest from the Ministry of Culture, the studio "Innovation" producer Marina Galician, writer, director Yusup Razykov, screenwriter, writer Ilya Rubinstein, writer Denis Osokin. Also, the speakers will hold for the participants a series of master classes.
The educational program "Film, journalism," will focus on development of original, disputable Kazan journalism. Workshops on film, journalism will conduct member of the Guild of Film Critics, FIPRESCI member Evgeni Meisel, film critic of TV channel "Russia" Veronica Skurikhina and press secretary of the Youth Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Center Natalia Egorova.
