January 25-26,   Yelabuga will host a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the birth I.I.  Shishkin and the 160th anniversary of the birth of V.M.  Bekhterev. Event organizers: Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elabuga  municipal district, Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve and Elabuzhsky Institute of Kazan Federal University.

The conference will be attended by over a hundred people: scientists, museums and universities from across the country, as well as descendants of our famous countrymen.

January 25, at 10.00,  in the auditorium of the Institute of Yelabuga  the conference opens. After the official part will begin a plenary session and work in two sections: "Spiritual Heritage I.I.  Shishkin in the cultural space of modern Russia "and" Personality of the great scientist in the history of the Fatherland. At the conference, the opening of three exhibitions is scheduled. On January 26, the House-Museum I.I. Shishkin, the   work   by disciple of  I.I. Shishkin. G.I. At the conference, citizens and guests of honor will  venerate  the  memory of  famous countrymen: in the Saviour Cathedral  where  a memorial service for Ivan Shishkin, and Peter and Paul Church in the village of Bechterevo - a requiem for V.M.  Bekhterev.
