Accepting applications for the film festival competition "Meridian of Hope" opened

This spring, in St. Petersburg  the seventh All-Russian ecological  film  festival   competition  "Meridian of Hope". Its  goal - to draw attention to environmental problems of the country. The festival has managed to unite filmmakers from different regions of Russia, to make films on environmental issues. Founders - St. Petersburg Union of Cinematographers and the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural  use  are confident that in the year of ecology, which declared 2017 the first year, the festival will receive a larger scale. Winners are defined in  environmental and film categories.

Now the organizing committee and the management is negotiating with the largest exhibition space in Europe - Expoforum, where together with the two environmental exhibitions holding  of  demonstrating  films  of  the festival   is planned. It is also planned to hold a separate children's day  of  Russian environmental cinema.
