The President got acquainted with the exhibition "Eternal Rome. Vatican Pinakothek Treasures ": it is more than 40 paintings by Bellini, Raphael, Caravaggio and other masters. Zelfira Tregulova said that the exhibition - a unique project for Russia as a whole. Never before Vatican museums in any country of the world did not issue such a large collection of permanent exhibition.
In addition, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan has been shown the most important paintings from the Tretyakov Gallery, starting with a portrait A.S. Pushkin, the work by Orestes Kiprensky and finishing works of Ilya Repin and Nikolai Ge.
Next, at the round table Rustam Minnikhanov and Zelfira Tregulova discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the Tretyakov Gallery and museums of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"We are interested not only in the import of Tatarstan its know-how and technologies developed in recent years, but also to implement joint projects with the republic", - said Zelfira Tregulova.
She noted that on April 26, current year, in Kazan the exhibition, which will feature 56 works from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery and 22 paintings of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be opened. The exhibition will be accompanied by a variety of lectures and children's educational programs.
"In turn, we want to show in 2018 at an exhibition of icons of Sviyazhsk. This is a very interesting and important center for the country's history of 15-16 centuries. We expect that the exhibition will include not only the icons of the churches and cathedrals of the ancient island-town, but also the objects of decorative art, which are now kept in museums of Moscow and the Moscow region. It should be a comprehensive exhibition telling about those important historical sites, and about painting, and what has been done and performed in Sviyazhsk ", - added Zelfira Tregulova.
