Unique collection - a gift for Christmas

At the exhibition hall of the House of Friendship, a collection " Kolyada came" has been presented. It is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the activities of Russian folklore-ethnographic ensemble of the same name. The book was created with the direct participation of Nina Petrovna Kuzmina. It was under her leadership, the team has earned the title of "people’s", became the winner of many All-Russian and international folklore festivals and competitions.

The authors tell about the history of the formation of the ensemble, about the difficulties of reviving Russian ritual and festive culture in the country, about the secrets and art of collecting the gems of Russian folk art in the villages of Tatarstan. The publication is supplemented with illustrations, photos, and text notes, spiritual poems and Christmas carols from the "Christmas Carols" repertoire with music disc application.

The collection was published with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian national-cultural associations of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the project "Russian traditional culture in the Republic of Tatarstan" of State Program "The implementation of the state national policy in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 - 2020 years.
