The National Museum of Tatarstan Republic becomes a member of the Council of Museums of the Volga Federal District

October 21, 2016  Director General of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazipova Gulchachak Rakhimzyanovna and scientific secretary Kuzina  Elsa Feliksovna  took part    in the organizational meeting of the inter-regional "Council of Museums of the  Volga Federal District",  which took place in the center of the Historical and Memorial Museum   after I.A. Goncharov in Ulyanovsk  city.

The initiators and founders of the Council meeting became  Volodina Julia Konstantinovna, director of the Ulyanovsk regional museum of local lore  after I.A.  Goncharov; Nazipova Gulchachak Rahimzyanovna, Director General of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan; Menshikova Irina Petrovna, director of the Chuvash National Museum.

The general meeting adopted more than 80 participants, including leaders, the  delegations of 38 museums from  14 regions of the Volga Federal District: national, local history, art, literature, museum-reserves.

Interregional public organization "Council of Museums   of  the Volga Federal District" is a voluntary, self-governing, non-profit   formation. The Council of Museums  of  VFD will be a platform for professional communication, coordination of the museum community.

Heads of the leading museums of the Volga in Ulyanovsk discussed organizational and legal basis for the Council's activities, main directions of cooperation: inter-museum exhibition exchange, joint efforts in project activities and tourism, organization of joint events. The election of the governing body of the Council - Board were held, the  each  member of which will be in charge of his direction. Each year, the Council will be held in different regions of the Volga Federal District.

On the  website of the Ulyanovsk regional museum of local lore   after  I. A.  Goncharov  the site of  Council of Museums has been constructed  with relevant information. For visitors to the site will be of great interest to submit a plan map of the largest VFD  activities of museums, as well as activities, one of which is tourism, which acts as the curator of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, the press service of the National Museum of Tatarstan  informs.
