82nd theatrical season opened

At the Bugulma  state Russian drama theatre after   A.V.  Batalov  opening ceremony of the 82nd theater season took place. A welcoming speech to the spectators and the collective of the theatre addressed  deputy head of the executive committee on the social affairs Elvera Rezvanova. She handed a Letter of thanks on behalf of the head of Bugulma municipality Linar Zakirov to the  theater director Vladislav Yudin.

  On  opening of the season all the audience has been congratulated by  director of the theater. He noted recent achievements and accomplishments of the troupe, told about  the establishment of the annual award   named after A. V. Batalov. This year the theater has been  awarded a sizeable    grant from the  PJSC "Tatneft" in the amount of 500 thousand rubles. According to Vladislav Yudin, the proceeds will  be directed to a new theatrical production by  the Serbian playwright Bronislav Nushich "Mrs. Ministersha".

At the opening of the season the ceremony of    awarding   the new prize  after A. V. Batalov   was held. In the nomination " Honor and Dignity" award was handed to  Honored Artist of Russia, People's Artist of Tatarstan, who has spent more than 50 years to the service of the theater, Ravil Ismagilovich Salimov. In the same category   the was delivered to   makeup-pastizher Valentina Mishukova who is  in service for 45 years. The main "Hope of  Theatre"  actress Laysan Renatovna Khabibullina  was named.

A  theatrical life of  Bugulma has been launched by a bright premiere - the play "Rent-a-Kid"   by (Zh.Letraz) dir. Vladimir Borodin. This is the third work  by  director Vladimir Borodin at the  Bugulma theater.

Besides  premieres of the new season, the playbill of the theater includes  premieres of last season, that already had time to grab the public's attention - "Bashmachkin" based on Nikolai Gogol's "The Overcoat" and "Cabbage rolls  by  ad" (A.Fink).

 In general,  management of the theater notes, the new season promises to be very rich, fresh and varied. Theatre prepares new premieres, performances and concerts.
