Today, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullina with Plenipotentiary Minister,  Deputy of the Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Russian Federation, Mr. Lasri Simbolon.

The meeting was attended by Advisor on Information and Cultural Affairs, Mr. Nanang Fadilla, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, in charge of the international direction of the Ministry of Guzel Sharipova, heads of ministry departments.

During the meeting they discussed issues of cooperation in the field of culture and art, the sides exchanged views on the implementation of the List of instructions issued following a meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia in the Russian Federation, Mr. Supriyadi and arrangements for organizing mutual Days of the Republic of Indonesia culture and the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017-2018.

The sides expressed their mutual desire to further development of cultural relations between the two countries.

Tomorrow, 14 October, in the framework of cooperation between the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Republic of Indonesia, in the auditorium of the former  building of  KFEU,  Butlerova Street. The festival  of Indonesian culture "The  Wonderful Indonesia" will be held. The event is to introduce the Indonesian culture, art and beauty of the Indonesian archipelago for residents and visitors from  Tatarstan, organizers promise. Beginning at 13.30.
