September 19 and September 20, 2016, RT Composers Union continued a series of visiting meetings - concerts in the framework of the project "Composers of Tatarstan to Children."
The project is implemented with the financial support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The outreach and propaganda is one of the main works implemented by the Union in the Republic of Tatarstan composers. In 2013, the project "Tatarstan Composers to Children" has been created, within the framework of which in the various parts of our republic creative meetings, concerts with participation of Tatarstan composers and performers are being held. Since 2016, thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov, the project has expanded geography, concerts were held in the regions of the country and cities of the Russian Federation.
September 19 and 20, an active project team, headed by Chairman of the Union of Russia and Tatarstan composers, People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Rashid Kalimullin visited Agryz, Izhevsk and Perm. A creative "landing" consisted of composer Julia Beck; a laureate of international contests, candidate of pedagogical sciences , Associate Professor Katerina Kovrikova KFU; musicologist, deputy of RT Union of Composers Chairman Almira Kasyanova. The events took place at the Children's School of Art in the Agryz municipal district of RT, the Children's Art School №1 after G. A. Korepanov (Izhevsk), Gymnasium №11 after S.P. Diaghilev (Perm).
Agryz met composers and musicians at the highest level: the district head V.V. Makarov with active participation of Director of School of Arts I.V. Saifullin, school teachers allowed the project participants to experience a special attention and a warm welcome of renewing town.
Izhevsk Children's School of Arts after G.Korepanov, which is located in a 200-year old building of the former merchant's house, has a long tradition of classical teaching of professional musicians. A beautiful hall with portraits of great composers, splendid new pianos. The concert was attended by Udmurt composers. After the concert composers exchanged experiences and new editions of works for children and youth.
Gymnasium №11 after S.P. Diaghilev in Perm - a historical place, where the family of the future founder of the famous "Russian Seasons" lived, advocate of Russian music abroad Sergei Diaghilev. There is a museum to preserve and promote the tradition of teaching children to respect the best achievements of Russian culture. After the concert, held in the form of a lecture-concert Rashid Kalimullin gave a master class for young composers of Perm. Special thanks the participants of the project have expressed to Chairman of Perm organization of Russian Union of Composers Igor Evgenievich Mashukov which facilitated the activities of RT Union of Composers to this ancient city of Prikamye.
The program of meetings, concerts featured works by R. Enikeev, L. Lyubovsky, A. Sharafeeva, F. Sharifullina, E. Galimova, R. Ahiyarova V. Kharisov, S. Zoryukova, Yu.Bek, A.Sofiyskaya, R.Kalimullin . The lecturer of concerts was R. Kalimullin, who invited children and adults to actively participate: pupils answered questions, guessed familiar images, interested in the composer's life and questions of their creativity. To immerse in a diverse world of music of Tatar composers successfully helped the pianist Ekaterina Kovrikova.
After the concerts R. Kalimullin gave to heads of educational institutions editions of Tatar composers for children. The holding of such meetings, lectures, concerts can fill process of teaching children new relevant content and to introduce the music of composers of Tatarstan, its culture and traditions, contributes to the formation of citizenship and the younger generation of patriotism and love for the small and large country, respect for the diversity of cultures and peoples, reports RT Union of Composers.
