Festival of Brass Bands of the Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" will be held on public holidays, 29 and 30 August

The traditional festival of brass bands  of the  Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" will be held on public holidays, 29 and 30 August. Their  programs   will show the orchestras from  St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Cheboksary and Kazan.

 

Specially for the Festival of brass bands  the  "Fanfares of Kazan”    on the basis of military unit 5517 of  Kazakhstan, general   orchestra of the Regional Command" Batys " has been  formed The orchestra of military unit 5517 holds a special place among the military bands of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. No significant event, whether it is the Victory Day Parade or the city is not without its participation.

 

Along with "Batys" Orchestra for the first time will participate in the Festival team called "North Star." It is the Kirov Military Band, which in 2016 became the winner of the competition held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

 

As "all roads lead to Rome",  the first day of the solemn procession of bands along the main streets of Kazan will lead the audience into the heart of our city - the Kremlin. The program of brass music festival will include outdoor concerts, solemn processions, fashion shows and grand virtuoso performance combined orchestra, when Russia and Tatarstan hymns, pieces by Tatar composers will perform at the same time more than 400 musicians. Participants also will acquaint you with rapid marches, classical works of other authors, will perform jazz compositions.

 

We hope that everyone who comes to the festival, will agree with lines from a poem by Valentin Sidorov: "Here we go again awakened and resurrected all that the heart knows by heart ... What power in brass bands! What power and what kind of sadness ... "

 

As usual, admission for all guests of the Festival is free, according to the Kazan Kremlin press service.
