August 12, 2016, opening of the exhibition "Sviyazhsky zori (Sviyazhsky Dawns) " will be held at 16.00 in "Hazine» National Gallery of Art.
"Sviazhsky Dawns" - an exhibition of works by participants of the international Sino-Russian plein air, which was held on the Island of Sviyazhsk.
Republic of Tatarstan - a place where organically the art of various peoples has been combined. For foreigners who want to feel and experience the charm of directly diverse cultures of peoples of Russia, Kazan, no doubt, is one of the best examples. That is why in the framework of the Sino-Russian plein air as the venue for the event Kazan city and the ancient island-town Sviyazhsk was chosen.
By working together, communicating with artists of Tatarstan, the exchange of experience, the Chinese artists are able to immerse themselves in the artistic atmosphere of our republic.
The exhibition features about 20 sketching works by seventeen members of the plein air (14 Chinese and 3 Russians ).
During the opening and in the course of exhibition work master classes in traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy are to be held.
The exhibition runs until August 16.
